Soft Crust Victory!!

I’ve been making bread most every day now since Greg’s favourite commercial loaves are no longer available. Previously I’ve been making rolls, pullaparts and crusty loaves. SO, this was first attempt at making soft crust loaf, WORKED AWESOME, I RULE! *laughs*

I took all the tips I could find on how to attain a soft crust on a loaf of bread (since all the recipes seem to make crusty ones – not that I don’t like those! But not the greatest for sandwiches xD), narrowed out the ones that I thought would work the best in our rather archaic kitchen set up, and VICTORY WAS MINE!

Baking? Chemical voodoo, mang.

Although, the only problem with baking your own bread?

You eat it SO fast.

*flail at massive spike in bread intake*

Not that Greg’s at all complaining xD

OMG ENGAGED!

I realised that I hadn’t actually made any announcements online about our news..! O_O;; xD

On the fifteenth of June, after I’d had a conversation with Bec about how we’d been planning on buying me a ‘test’ engagement ring to see if I would even WEAR one – she excitedly ran off and looked through her fashion ring collection and pulled out two rings she thought would fit me for me to borrow and test out.

Later that night while we were hiding from the cold in bed, I showed Greg, and he put them both on my finger. But! He decided that that wasn’t right, demanded I take them both off and after a whole mess of awesome face mashing: He asked me to marry him.

We’d previously discussed that we wouldn’t do “The Question” and when we found “The Ring” we’d just be engaged. But I had no idea that I really DID want to be asked so much until he actually asked me.

Needless to say, I totally said yes, have been pretty DAMN excited about it every since, and I still get all lip and jaw wibbly and giddy just thinking about it. YAY ENGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGED!!!!!!! :D

I wasn’t allowed to get too attached to this huge blue resin flower with its little diamante heart. But its too late, I love it.
