Though this clip feels a little long, I COVET this as it would make baking so much easier! xD And could you imagine all the awesome decorating control you would have?! MAN! I have a little favour to ask anyone who would care to answer the call. We’re having a Western Themed event for Bec & Erik’s combined Hens & Bucks show. And. Well. We need music. xD
We don’t want to listen to terrifying Country & Western all night (though a few choice tracks will be peppered in I’m sure) but its actually hard to come up with stuff that’s good and STILL party atmosphere! xD
We’ve got the Deadwood soundtrack, umpteen versions of These Boots Were Made for Walking, some other Nancy Sinatra, a little Tom Waits but… Honestly? We can’t really just have that on repeat all night. xD
SO! Does anyone have any suggestions? Songs with v. wild west lyrics? Music that sounds like its straight out of the era? I’d LOVE to hear them! I’ve probably got much much more than I think in my collection (I’m sure I’ve got Will Smith kicking around here ;)) but anything even for a memory jog would be epics!
Edit: I asked Greg if he was going to suggest something TERRIFYING (he’s very into death metal and post metal) but he took one look at the post and announced that I “..need the Young Guns Soundtrack!” and MY GOD he’s right. Also some Zeppelin that would work perfectly. YAY!

It was quite late, but I have been behind in posting my event photography, so I was looking at some of the shots I had done at Greg’s grandmother’s birthday, like the one above and the Mushroom, ricotta & olives… & the Cheese twists in order to get them the heck uploaded.
Drunk on lack of sleep I’m sure, I blurted out “Wow man, I AM good at taking photos of food.” Reference? Greg’s father had been complimenting me on my food photography when he went through my flicker account back around Christmas. I’d said thankyou and was a bit self depreciating as I always think I can do much MUCH better.
Greg replied, “You should be a food photographer” to which I kind of dismissively responded, “LOL, that’d be nice.” He stopped me, turned my head and said “No. I am serious. You SHOULD be a food photographer.”
I know that he’s my partner, and he’s biased, and Chas is my partner’s DAD so surely he’s also a little biased, but wow. I have to say? All kinds of flattered. ^_^;;
I’m three days late on posting the Daring Baker’s Challenge for February – so its MARCH LAWLS! But I’m hoping its okay because a) this challenge was DELICIOUS and b) Uh, I can bat my eyelashes really impressively? :D :D
